Port Alfred Background Information : Port Alfred is a popular seaside town which is fondly known as the “heart of the Sunshine Coast” and offers investors sound appreciation SITUATED halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London on the banks of the Kowie River, Port Alfred is a thriving seaside town popular with both permanent property investors and holidaymakers alike. The Kowie River, which is navigable for 28km, flows through wild, indigenous forest past farmlands and riverside homes with their own jetties, under two bridges in the centre of the town and out to sea past the Royal Alfred Marina.
